RE: Why is this 2008 DP so cheap?

This is a 2008 Coachman 382DS that list for about $163K, so dealer is giving about 32% off of list which is $110K. Since the 2009 models are out now he is trying to unload his 2008 models. Curt So its not that low of a price Much to do about nothing ?

RE: Screw's fall out under Fleetwood Pace Arrow

Sorry for this but couldn't resist... When I was asking a friend of mine about various coaches he's owned over the year while we were deciding which DP to get he mentioned he had owned a couple of Country Coaches, a Monoco, a Foretravel, a Fleetwood Bounder, and he now owns a Prevost conversion. When I asked him why he sold each one when he got to the Fleetwood he said, "because I couldn't find a trailer big enough to hold all the parts that fall off whenever we were driving it!". I got a big laugh out of it. Sorry, I know it doesn't help with your problem though! :) The problem was he went from CC's to Mon's , FT's then to a Bounder . No wonder he didnt like the Bounder ! Of Course, he finally left ALL the junk behind and moved up to the Prevost !

RE: Here comes Kyle, stay or go?

We dont get many hurricanes up here . In my yonger days I would have enjoyed the experience of a Cat 1. In fact I did by attending hurricane parties at the top of the Blue Hills in Milton MA . . Now that I am older almost 50 ! I guess I would head inland . Its tough to get old,I can feel allure of minor danger has been draining from me . I cant imagine what it will be like 15 -20 years from now will I want to risk going outside ?

RE: JACKSON MS FAIRGROUND SAFE & OK?

The fairground seemed safe enough the couple of times I have been there, but I don't see that as a reason for traveling unarmed. Are you purposely trying to turn this into a gun thread?:M What is it with Texans and guns anyways. Does it make you feel like a bad @$$?:h I bet he is saying whats with CT people and all their antigunner ways. Are you looking to start a new civil war ? If you dont like the second admendent try and change it .

Need for new Campgrounds

As I started to read my latest MH magazine there were a few letters from people who listed their campground pet peeves. Would there be sufficent numbers to support campgrounds that wouldnt allow ? Tvs radios inside home theaters the dreaded outside entertainment center dogs pets kids outside socializing golfcarts bikes generators bright outdoor lights fires quiet time for engine starting etc etc etc I really dont like camping next to such people as they stare and wait until we do something else wrong .

RE: Rotten Egg smell

Or a leak somewhere in the LP gas system. Have heard it smells like rotten eggs. Be careful. I think it goes to the low point. I will shut the tank off and see if the smell goes away . Still thinking battery Thanks !

Rotten Egg smell

In the motorhome and in the battery compartment . Funny, not in the lower section where the batteries are but in the upper section where the inverter is . I believe I have a defective battery . Do you agree ?
